Establish ParkinQ Meters on Del Lin. eastside of street just south of Forsyth <br />The meters will operate a total of 9 hours daily, Monday through Friday from 9am until 6pm. The meter hourly <br />charge is $.50. The parking time limit is two (2) hours. <br /> <br />Public Works Report: <br />On May 5, 2008, Public Works notified 240 adjacent property owners/tenants about the new proposal for parking <br />meters. Public Works met with the adjacent property owners/tenants. It was requested that these spaces be <br />removed from consideration because the area is mostly residential in nature. <br /> <br />Traffic Commission Action Required: <br />No further action required. The meter hourly <br />charge is $.50. To accommodate this request, a 15 minute parking zone would have to established and <br />designated by ordinance. Section 10.44.020, Parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours, of <br />the municipal code to be amended to allow fifteen minute parking. <br /> <br />Traffic Commission Action Required: <br />Public Works requests that the Traffic Commissioners vote on this item. <br /> <br />6. The meter hourly <br />charge is $.50. The parking time limit is two (2) hours. Additionally, a parking restriction will be established for <br />afternoon rush hour, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. <br /> <br />Public Works Report: <br />Public Works met with the adjacent property owners/tenants.
