Interim measure to control traffic while a signal is being installed <br />. Volume of traffic: If at least 500 vehicles enter the intersection from all approaches per hour for any 8 <br />hours of an average day; and If 85% of the vehicles are approaching the intersection on the main road at <br />more than 40 miles per hour, when there is an average of 350 vehicles entering the intersection per hour. <br /> <br />Both Purcell Ave and Julian Ave are streets 25 mph streets. <br /> <br />Traffic Counts and speed records for Purcell Ave. and accident report for the last 3 years on that intersection will <br />be provided at the meeting. <br /> <br />5. FYI - Forsvth StripinQ between Jackson Ave and Bland Dr. <br /> <br />There is a combined effort between the City of University City, the City of Clayton and St. Louis County to stripe <br />this section of Forsyth to provide guidance to drivers in the area. The markings include the addition of a central <br />turning lane and two travel lanes eastbound and two westbound respectively. This project will be completed in <br />September. <br /> <br />6.
