Currently, there are yield signs on Braddock at Laughlin – both east and west bound traffic on
Braddock Ave should yield to traffic on Laughlin Ave. In addition there is a stop sign on Laughlin
at Canton.

There have been no accidents reported for the last three years at this intersection according to
UCPD. Speed and traffic data will be provided at the meeting from the UCPD.

This intersection does not meet the warrants to install a stop sign, and the yield signs are already
installed to assign vehicle right-of-way at this intersection. This request will require for drivers on
Laughlin to stop at Braddock and to stop at Canton consecutively.

It is the Public Works recommendation to deny this request to install a 4-way stop sign at the
intersection of Braddock Ave and Laughlin Ave. It is considered to install stop signs on Braddock
at Laughlin.

3.
