High speed on Oakbrook Neighborhood, in particular “Alanson Drive”

No resident was present to address this issue.

The commissioners received a traffic request form, dated September 8, 2004 submitted by Robin
Hartrich, resident at 924 Alanson Drive. Ms. Hartrich is requesting to use horses or stop signs to
slow traffic so that those in the neighborhood could walk, run, or ride a bike on streets.

The commissioners mentioned that horses and stop signs are not recommended to control speed.
On May 14, 2003, the intersection of Alanson and Golf Course Drive was discussed as an agenda
item due to cars speeding in this residential area.

The Traffic Commissioners voted unanimously to count the traffic and record the speed on
Alanson and Golf Course as an informational study to be used for recommendations in a
future meeting. A counter will be installed on Alanson between Old Bonhomme and Golf
Course Drive and for Golf Course Drive, a counter will be installed between Old Bonhomme
and Alanson.

4.
