Whitley, Police Department <br />Tobias Gibson Mariela Tapia, Traffic Commission Secretary <br />Raymond Creer <br /> <br />Also present were residents representing the 7000 block of Waterman, Forsyth-Manhattan <br />intersection, and the Trinity- Washington intersection. Please find the attendance sheet <br />attached. <br /> <br />1.Street Petition for Residential Parking Permit in the 7000 block of Waterman. <br /> <br /> <br />The residents of the 7000 block of Waterman Ave presented a petition to implement a <br />residential parking permit system. The petition complies with all the requirements. <br /> <br />The Engineering Division in coordination with the Police Department verified the following: <br />?There is an average of 9 non-residential vehicles parked on the 7000 block of <br /> <br />Waterman, near the intersection with Big Bend. <br />?From the average of 9 non-residential vehicles parked near the Waterman-Big Bend <br /> <br />intersection, 5 vehicles park on the street on a regular basis. <br />?There is an average of 25 vehicles parked on the 7000 block of Waterman. <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. and Mrs. Bartels, residents at 7006 Waterman were present and Mrs. Bartels <br />mentioned the inconveniences due to non-residential parking, such as residents skipped on <br />recycling and yard waste pick-up days, leaves not swept, no space for residents visitors, <br />and residents unable to unload groceries and large purchases in front of their home. <br /> <br />The Traffic Commissioners voted unanimously and recommended that a <br />“residential parking permit” system be implemented for the 7000 block of <br />Waterman Ave. <br /> <br />2.No Parking Sign on Manhattan Ave. <br /> <br /> <br />Mark S.
