Catherine Nichols <br />. Morton Hyman <br />. Donnie Robinson <br />. Hyla Bondareff (New commissioner), <br />. Sgt King (U City Police Department), <br />. Robert Wagner (Council Liaison) and <br />. Angelica Gutierrez (Traffic Commission Liaison-U City Public Works Department). <br /> <br />Residents present were: <br />. Catherine Button - 7359 Lindell Blvd <br />. Thomas Poelker - 7237 Princeton Ave. <br /> <br />1. Parking Restrictions In Front Of 7359 Lindell Blvd. <br /> <br />Present was Catherine Button business owner of "Ms. M's" at 7359 Lindell and she requested that <br />the City designate on-street parking for Customers Only in front of this location during business <br />hours from Tuesday to Saturday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. <br /> <br />Mrs. Button states that Washington University employees park on the street for the entire day, not <br />allowing customers to park along the street. She also requested the parking restriction be <br />implemented on both sides of the street. Council Liaison, Robert Wagner informed the Commission <br />that parking meters are being considered for this area in the near future. Mrs. Button approves of <br />parking meters on Lindell Blvd. <br /> <br />The commissioners voted unanimously for a two hour parking restriction to be implemented from <br />Tuesdays to Saturdays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for a distance of 60 feet in front of <br />7359 Lindell Blvd. <br /> <br />2. Pershing Ave and Big Bend Blvd Intersection. <br /> <br />Present was Mr. Thomas A. Poelker (resident at 7237 Princeton Ave.), and he presented <br />suggestions in reference to the traffic control at the intersection of Pershing Ave. and Big Bend <br />Blvd., and Forest Park Parkway and Big Bend Blvd. <br /> <br />He indicated that he is aware of the new exit from the Williams Pharmacy parking lot area to access <br />Forest Park Parkway west bound only. However, currently there is only one way to exit the parking <br />lot and it is limited to turning right only. Commissioner Bondareff clarified that Pershing is a two- <br />way street and that there is a street sign for people exiting the parking lot that reads "Pershing <br />traffic does not stop." <br /> <br />Mr. Poelker suggested the following: <br /> <br />1. For the pavement at the intersection of Big Bend/Pershing to be marked "Do Not Block <br />Intersection."
