<br /> <br />6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, MO 63130 <br />Phone: 314-862-6767, Fax: (314) 862-0694 <br /> <br />CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MINUTES OF THE TRAFFIC COMMISSION <br />March 12, 2008 <br /> <br />Greg Patterson called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Those members present <br />were: <br />. Catherine Nichols <br />. Morton Hyman <br />. Paulette Smith (New commissioner) <br />. Hyla Bondareff <br />. Bob Wagoner <br />. Sgt King (U City Police Department), <br />. Robert Wagner (Council Liaison) and <br />. Angelica Gutierrez (Traffic Commission Liaison-U City Public Works <br />Department). <br /> <br />No residents were present at the meeting. <br /> <br />1. Pershing Ave and Big Bend Blvd Intersection. <br /> <br />There was no one present to discuss this request. Mr. Patterson called for the <br />commissioners' vote on the Public Works Department's recommendation to table <br />the item. <br /> <br />The commissioners voted unanimously for this request be tabled until William <br />Pharmacy Entrance/Exit is constructed after which Public Works will determine <br />whether the improvements alleviated the issues. <br /> <br />2. Change Lindell Blvd. from a One-way to a Two-way Street from Forsyth <br />Blvd. to Approximately 120 Feet North of Forsyth Blvd. <br /> <br />On February 25, 2008 the Public Works Department notified the residents and <br />businesses in the 7300 block of Lindell and Forsyth Blvd. of the proposed change <br />for Lindell Blvd. from a One-way to a Two-way Street from Forsyth Blvd to <br />approximately 120 feet North of Forsyth Blvd and requested that they provide <br />their comments during this meeting. <br /> <br />No residents were present at the meeting. However, on March 12, 2008, <br />Katharina Panjaitan, Kelly and Bryan Himmelsbach, residents at 7326 and 7355 <br />Lindell Blvd, respectively, sent an email opposing the change indicating it will <br /> <br />Minutes - March12, 2008 Page 1 <br />V:\WP51\ENGINEERING DIVISION\Public Works- Traffic Commission\minutes\2008\Minutes 3-12-8.doc <br />
