<br />The commissioners voted unanimously to establish (4) parking meters on Forsyth north side of street just <br />east of Lindell Blvd. and for (2) spaces to be restricted as 15 minute parking zone. <br /> <br /> <br />6. Establish Parking Meters on Forsyth north side of street just west of Lindell <br /> <br />The meters will operate a total of 8 hours daily, Monday through Friday from 8am until 4pm. The meter <br />hourly charge is $.50. The parking time limit is two (2) hours. Additionally, a parking restriction will be <br />established for afternoon rush hour, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. <br /> <br />Mrs. Gutierrez explained that in four (4) spaces parking meters will be installed and that parking for two <br />spaces will be restricted to 15 minutes to provide a customer pick-up area. To accommodate this request <br />a 15 minute parking zone would have to be established and designated by ordinance. Section 10.44.020, <br />Parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours, of the municipal code to be amended to <br />allow fifteen minute parking. <br /> <br />Mrs. Murray asked who would be able to park in the parking lot and Mrs. Gutierrez explained that there <br />are no restrictions to park on the lot after meters are installed. <br /> <br />The commissioners voted unanimously to establish (4) parking meters on Forsyth north side of street just <br />west of Lindell Blvd., for (2) spaces to be restricted as 15 minute parking zone, and for a parking <br />restriction to be established for the afternoon rush hours, from 4pm to 6 pm. <br /> <br />Mrs. Gutierrez explained how quantities changed after negotiation with property owners, from 27 meters; <br />the City will be installing only 8 meters. <br /> <br />7.
