Donnie Robinson <br />. Hyla Bondareff <br />. Paulette Smith <br />. Catherine Nichols <br />. Sgt King (UCPD), <br />. Angelica Gutierrez (Public Works Department). <br /> <br />Residents/property owners present were: <br /> <br />. Delois Buckley - resident and home owner at 7387 Liberty Ave. <br />. Karl Poettgen - resident at 7378 Liberty Ave <br />. William Owens - resident at 500 North and South Rd. <br />. Brad Flansburg - resident at 6902 Julian Ave. <br />. Oludare Falako - business manager at 8430 Olive Blvd. <br /> <br />1. ChanQe the 7300 block of Liberty Ave to be one-way street from PaQe Ave to Hanley Ave. <br /> <br />Mr. Patterson introduced this item requesting Delois Buckley and Karl Poettgen to present their petition. <br /> <br />Mr. Buckley started providing a list with "traffic Issues on 7300 block of Liberty Ave" <br /> <br />1. Speeders running up on buses picking kids and letting kids off at home and the bus stops. <br />There are three buses that pass on and near the 7300 block of Liberty Ave. <br />2. Excessive speeding and speeders endanger children, handicap, and seniors, because of their <br />failure to yield. <br />3. Stolen, burning and abandon cars left on our streets. <br />4. Mounting and hundreds of near misses of car accidents at each curve. <br />5. Speeders traveling 40 to 50 mph on Liberty Ave. <br />6. Discarded fast food trash, beer and soda cans pitched in the street and thrown and blown on <br />private property. <br />7. Cars turning in private drive ways damage property without any remorse. <br />8. Having ongoing theft, vandalism, and break-ins. <br />9. Drug deals and drugs purchased by folks passing through. <br />10.
