Request to remove parking restriction on the south side of Forsyth Blvd from Big Bend <br />Blvd to Asbury Ave. <br /> <br />Commissioner Patterson started the meeting explaining that this request to remove the parking <br />restriction, if approved, would be effective after highway 40 reopens. <br /> <br />Councilmember Wagner spoke on behalf of Councilmembers from ward 1, provided the background <br />and recommended to the Traffic Commissioners to remove the existing on-street rush hour parking <br />restriction on Forsyth Boulevard between Big Bend Boulevard and Asbury. He also mentioned that at <br />the June 2009 City Council meeting, the City Council approved the Residential Parking Permit <br />System on the north side of Forsyth in the 7000 and 7100 blocks. The system will be implemented <br />after Highway 40 reopens. <br /> <br />resident at 7056 Forsyth Blvd <br />Ms. Edna Steven (south side) mentioned that the Residential Parking <br />Permit should be implemented on both sides of the street.
