<br />Recommendations from the Department of Parks and Recreation are the following 12 locations: <br /> <br />nd <br />a) Fogerty Park – On 82 Street. (1 sign) <br />b) Ruth Park - On Groby Rd and McKnight Rd. entrance. (2 signs) <br />c) Kaufman Park – On Blackberry Ave. (1 sign) <br />d) Millar Park – On Canton Ave. (1 sign) <br />e) Joseph Mooney Park – On Jackson Ave. (1 sign) <br />f) Heman Park – On Purdue Bridge and Vernon entrance. (2 signs) <br />g) Janet Majerus Park – On Partridge Ave. (1 sign) <br />h) Flynn Park – On Pershing Ave. (1 sign) <br />i) On Kingsbury and Melville Ave intersection. (1 sign) <br />j) Ackert Walkway – At Vernon entrance. (1 sign) <br /> <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe stated that the City Council and school system are working together to send one <br />or two notices to the parents with this information and additional to that, when Schools send <br />notices to parents, they will add this information aswell. <br /> <br />Commissioner Bondareff recommended changing last two signs, <br /> i) in front of Pershing School on Sadler Ave and Bartmer and <br /> j) on the north side entrance of the University Library. <br /> <br />Commissioner Bondareff made a motion to recommend installation of the signs as amended, <br />seconded by Commissioner Nichols and unanimously approved. <br /> <br />4.
