Session ! 752 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />April 12, 1999 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chamber of <br />City Hall on Monday, April 12, 1999, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to order <br />at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt (arrived at 7:34 p.m.) <br />Mr. Wayne I. Munkel <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Mr. Paul Schoomer <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner movE. d approval of the regular meeting minutes of March 29, 1999. Mr. <br />Munkel seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval of the March 29, 1999 special meeting minutes. Mr. <br />Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS,~ <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved the appointment of Mr. Benjamin Lipman, 8042 Delmar, to the <br />Uniformed and Non-Uniformed Pension Boards for a term ending July 1, 2003. Mr. <br />Wagner seconded the approval, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Lieberman moved the appointment of Ms. Joanne Zach, 7106 Washington, to the Arts <br />and Letters Comrr,ission for an unexpired term ending January 2, 2003. Mr. Wagner <br />seconded the mot on, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />The City Clerk administered the oath of office to Ms. Catherine Smith: Pension Boards. <br /> <br />The Mayor thanked Ms. Smith for her willingness to serve her community on this important <br />board. The City Council greatly depends on the boards and commissions in order to make <br />the right decisions for the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
