Session 1706, Minutes <br />September 22, 1997 <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8349 - VACATING AND SURRENDERING A PORTION OF HEMAN AVENUE <br />IN THE DELMAR GARDEN SUBDIVISION IN UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, BUT <br />RESERVING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE <br />BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, <br />MISSOURI. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8349 was given its second reading. <br />Bill No. 8349 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Ware moved approval. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as <br />follows: AYES: Mr. Munkel, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Ware and Mayor Adams <br />NAYS: none. Bill No. 8349 became Ordinance No. 6130. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8350 - APPROVING A SALE AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF 7715 <br />OLIVE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAME ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY AND TO TAKE SUCH OTHER ACTION NECESSARY IN <br />CONNECTION THEREWITH. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8350 was given its second reading. <br />Bill No. 8350 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved approval. Bill No. 8350 became Ordinance No. 6131. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8351 - AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF UNIVERSITY CITY RELATING TO ZONING BY ENACTING SECTION 34-55, BY <br />ADDING A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 34-55 <br />TELECOMMUNICATION ANTENNAS, TOWERS AND SUPPORT STRUCTURES"; <br />CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8351 was given its second reading. <br />Bill No. 8351 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved approval. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff said that at the last meeting a citizen had asked what effect this bill <br />would have on the Green Center project at Kaufman Park. The property does not meet <br />the requirements, so a tower could not be built on this property. There is no point that is <br />more than 200 feet from all adjacent residences. Therefore, Kaufman Park is not an <br />eligible site for a tower. <br /> <br /> <br />
