Session 1754 <br />April 26, 1999 <br /> <br />AGENDA #2 - LIQUOR LICENSE PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> <br />Mr, Ollendorff said that a new, completed application had been received for a license to sell <br />beer and wine onl) at a restaurant located at 1255-57 Ferguson Avenue known as "This is <br />It" Bar and Grill. A previous application was denied by the City Council. The applicant has <br />submitted and paid for a new application and reduced the type of license of beer and wine <br />only. The action required at this time is to set a public hearing date which is <br />recommended to be held in these Council chambers at 7:30 p.m. on May 10. The City <br />Council may also advise as to where notices of the public hearing should be sent in <br />addition to posting the premises. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval. Ms. Colquitt seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />BUDGET STUDY MEETING MAY 12TH: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams said that there was a conflict with May 12th, because another <br />Councilmember wi.,;hed to attend a Plan Commission meeting the same night. Options are <br />to hold the budget study session until after the May 10th regular session and finish on the <br />17t~ or do the entire study on May 17t", since the budget is similar to last years. <br /> <br />The sense of the Council was to try and start the budget study after the May 10t~ meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel wante0 to make sure the public was aware of the change, <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer mow;d approval of the changes.
