<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Traffic Commission <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri 63130, Phone: (314) 862-6767, Fax: (314) 863-9146 <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MINUTES OF THE TRAFFIC COMMISSION <br />June 8, 2011 <br /> <br />Melcine Henderson called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. The members present were: <br /> <br /> Hyla Bondareff <br /> <br /> Stefany Brot <br /> <br /> Paulette Smith <br /> <br /> Jackie Womack <br /> <br /> Catherine Nichols <br /> <br /> Angelica Gutierrez, Public Works Liaison <br /> <br /> Sinan Alpaslan, City Engineer/Assistant Public Works Director <br /> <br /> Shaun Margul, Police Department Representative <br /> <br /> Terry Crow, Council Liaison <br /> <br />Others present were: <br /> <br /> Sharon Logan ,Resident at 1336 Waldron Avenue <br /> <br /> Arno Perlow , Resident at 1316 Waldron Avenue <br /> <br /> Kareem Johnson , University City Patch <br /> <br /> Michael McMurtrey, Resident at 7445 Teasdale Ave <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes April 13, 2011 <br />1. <br />Commissioner Nichols made a motion to approve the minutes from April 13, 2011, <br />seconded by Commissioner Bondareff and unanimously approved. <br /> <br />2. Rules of Order and Procedure of the Traffic Commission of University City <br /> <br />The Rules of Order and Procedure of the Traffic Commission of University City were <br />presented to the Commission for comments. Commissioner Brot provided the following <br />comments: <br /> <br /> <br /> Section 2.1 Time; Place: Commissioner Brot proposed to change from 10 business <br />days to five (5) business days to send cancellation notice. Commissioner <br />Henderson commented that Commission needs to take into consideration that the <br />secretary is also an employee of the City and some of her time is primarily with the <br />City and we should give her the opportunity to give us a notice with in the 10 day <br />period since she has other duties other than the Traffic Commission. <br /> <br /> Section 2.3 Chairperson: “A chairperson may serve no more than two terms”. <br /> <br /> Section 3.2 Petition: A list of residents affected will be defined on case by case <br />bases. <br />Traffic Commission Minutes – June 8, 2011 Page 1 <br /> <br />
