<br /> <br />MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL <br /> <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />June 27, 2011 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, <br />on Monday, June 27, 2011. Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In <br />addition to Mayor Welsch, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Stephen Kraft <br /> Mr. Terry Crow <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance was City Manager Lehman Walker <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mr. Walker asked to postpone two bills, Bill 9115 and 9118 until the next Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert asked if it was meant to delete or postpone. Mayor Welsch said it was to <br />postpone till the July 11, 2011 Council meeting. <br /> <br />Voice vote to postpone Bills 9115 and 9118 carried unanimously. <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />1. <br />June 6, 2011, City Council Special Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br />Glickert, seconded by Mr. Kraft and carried unanimously with Ms. Ricci abstaining <br />as she was not present at that meeting. <br /> <br />2. <br />June 13, 2011, City Council Regular Session minutes were moved for approval by <br />Mr. Sharpe, seconded by Ms. Ricci and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. <br />Matthew Fillo was nominated for the Pension Board by Mayor Welsch, seconded by <br />Mr. Crow and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br />Dan Rayhawk was reappointed to the L.C.R.A. by Mayor Welsch, seconded by Mr. <br />Glickert and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />G. SWEARING IN <br />Thelma Serena Jones was sworn in to the Library Board. <br /> <br />H. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION (Total of 15 minutes allowed) <br />1. <br />Ms. Weston was concerned over Bill 9117 that would dissolve the Olive Boulevard <br />TIF Commission which was not to happen until the end of December 2011.
