Session 1758 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />May 24, 1999 <br /> <br />At a regular meeti~g of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chamber of <br />City Hall on Monday, May 24, 1999, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to order <br />at 7:30 p.m. In a{Idition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br />Mr. Wayne I. Munkel <br />Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Mr. Larry Lieberman <br />Mr. Paul Schoomer <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was (;ity Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval of the regular session minutes from May 10, 1999. Mr. <br />Schoomer second~.d the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION: - MOSES HEAD DIVERSITY EDUCATION FUND: <br /> <br />The City Clerk rea(I a resolution creating the Moses Head Diversity Education Fund. <br /> <br />The entire Council body moved the adoption of the resolution. The motion was seconded <br />by Mr. Sharpe an(~ carried unanimously. The resolution will become a permanent part of <br />the minutes. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S, REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR (6 ITEMS): <br /> <br />#1 - Third Quarter Budget Transfers: Mr. Ollendorff recommends transfers of money from <br />accounts where sa~ings have occurred to those programs which cost more than expected. <br />These transfers in( lude allocating revenue over the amount budgeted to various accounts. <br />The budget remairs in balance with the approval of these revenue and expenditure <br />transfers. The net increase in appropriations is about $250,000 equaling 1% of the budget <br />and offset by appn)ximately equal amounts of unappropriated revenue. <br /> <br /> <br />
