<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL <br /> <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />July 25, 2011 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, <br />on Monday, July 25, 2011. Mayor Pro-Tem Arthur Sharpe called the meeting to order at 6:34 <br />p.m. In addition to Mr. Sharpe, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Stephen Kraft <br /> <br />Mayor Shelley Welsch, Councilmembers Mr. Crow and Mr. Price were excused. <br />Also in attendance was City Manager Lehman Walker <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mr. Kraft moved to approve the agenda as submitted, seconded by Ms. Ricci and <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />1. <br />July 11, 2011, City Council Regular Session minutes were moved for approval by <br />Ms. Ricci, seconded by Mr. Glickert and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br />July 18, 2011, Council Study Session minutes were moved for approval by Ms. <br />Ricci, were seconded by Mr. Kraft and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. <br />David Neiers, Naomi Stevenson, Pamela Carter and Timothy Lemen were <br />nominated to the I.D.A. Board by Mayor Pro-Tem Sharpe for Mayor Welsch, <br />seconded by Mr. Glickert and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br />Gregory Pace was nominated for the Building Code of Appeals by Mayor Pro-Tem <br />Sharpe for Mayor Welsch, seconded by Mr. Kraft and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. <br />Edward McCarthy was nominated for the Board of Trustees, the Uniform & Non- <br />Uniform Retirement Fund, by Mr. Glickert, seconded by Mr. Kraft and carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />4. <br />Julianne C. Niemann was nominated for the Board of Trustees, the Uniform & Non- <br />Uniform Retirement Fund, by Mr. Kraft, seconded by Mr. Glickert and carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5. <br />Carol Schmidt was reappointed to the Historic Preservation Commission by Mayor <br />Pro-Tem Sharpe for Mr. Crow, seconded by Mr. Glickert and carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
