<br />sobriety <br />The University City Police Department (UCPD) will conduct a <br />th <br />checkpoint <br /> in the 8100 block of Delmar on Friday, September 15 from 10:00 <br />PM to 2:00 AM the following morning. Normal traffic flow will not be severely <br />interrupted and delays will be minimal. The purpose of the checkpoint is to make <br />our streets and highways safer and increase the public awareness of the hazards <br />of drinking and driving. Federal grants funded the training and education <br />program sponsored in conjunction with St. Louis County Police Department to <br />increase enforcement of underage drinking laws. <br />As mentioned previously, I will be at the ICMA conference Sunday through <br />Wednesday.
