SESSION 1241 <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />March 24,.1980 <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City, held in the Assembly <br />Room of the City Hall on Monday, March 24, 1980, Mayor Joseph W. Mooney presided <br />and called the meeting to order at 7:32 P.M. In addition to the Mayor, the fol- <br />lowing members of the Council were present: <br />Mr. Lawrence Lieberman <br />Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. <br />Mrs. Cynthia Metcalfe <br />Mr. Patrick J. Kelley <br />Mrs. Elsie Glickert <br />Also present were City Manager Frank G. 011endorff and City Attorney Dennis F. Kay. <br />Councilman Sabol arrived at 7:45 P.M. <br />MINUTES <br />February 25, 1980 <br />Mayor Mooney noted that Fire Chief Markgraf had asked that two corrections be made <br />to the minutes of the February 25 meeting, although those minutes had been approved <br />by the Council at the meeting of March 10, 1980. The corrections are as follows: <br />Page 2, second to last paragraph, please correct the first sentence to read "Mayor <br />Mooney asked what the paramedics would do with their free time, when they were not <br />on call, and Chief Markgraf said they would fulfill the full range of fire depart- <br />ment services, if they were hired as paramedic/firefighters." <br />Page 3, second paragraph, please insert a sentence after the third sentence, as <br />follows: "He also said that the state ambulance which the City has been using had <br />to be sent to the garage for a complete rewiring job." <br />March 10. 1980 <br />Councilman Glickert moved that the minutes of March 10, 1980, be approved as re- <br />ceived. Councilman Kelley seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br />March 19, 1980 <br />Councilman Glickert moved that the minutes of March 19, 1980, be approved as re- <br />ceived. Councilman Metcalfe seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br />OATHS OF OFFICE <br />Ms Leesa Freedman Gornish, recently appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Uni- <br />formed.an.d_ Non -Uniformed. Pension Plans, was sworn in by.the Acting City Clerk. <br />Mr. Heinz E. Zobel, recently appointed to the Board of Building Code Appeals, was <br />sworn in by the Acting City Clerk. <br />
