SESSION 1241 MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL March 24,.1980 At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City, held in the Assembly Room of the City Hall on Monday, March 24, 1980, Mayor Joseph W. Mooney presided and called the meeting to order at 7:32 P.M. In addition to the Mayor, the fol- lowing members of the Council were present: Mr. Lawrence Lieberman Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. Mrs. Cynthia Metcalfe Mr. Patrick J. Kelley Mrs. Elsie Glickert Also present were City Manager Frank G. 011endorff and City Attorney Dennis F. Kay. Councilman Sabol arrived at 7:45 P.M. MINUTES February 25, 1980 Mayor Mooney noted that Fire Chief Markgraf had asked that two corrections be made to the minutes of the February 25 meeting, although those minutes had been approved by the Council at the meeting of March 10, 1980. The corrections are as follows: Page 2, second to last paragraph, please correct the first sentence to read "Mayor Mooney asked what the paramedics would do with their free time, when they were not on call, and Chief Markgraf said they would fulfill the full range of fire depart- ment services, if they were hired as paramedic/firefighters." Page 3, second paragraph, please insert a sentence after the third sentence, as follows: "He also said that the state ambulance which the City has been using had to be sent to the garage for a complete rewiring job." March 10. 1980 Councilman Glickert moved that the minutes of March 10, 1980, be approved as re- ceived. Councilman Kelley seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. March 19, 1980 Councilman Glickert moved that the minutes of March 19, 1980, be approved as re- ceived. Councilman Metcalfe seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. OATHS OF OFFICE Ms Leesa Freedman Gornish, recently appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Uni- formed.an.d_ Non -Uniformed. Pension Plans, was sworn in by.the Acting City Clerk. Mr. Heinz E. Zobel, recently appointed to the Board of Building Code Appeals, was sworn in by the Acting City Clerk.
