Please forward your ideas and <br />concerns to me no later than 12:00 Friday, October 20. <br /> Mr. Marmillion’s schedule <br />Based on Council schedules provided thus far andthe best dates for the <br /> <br />Council retreat areOctober 30, October 31, November 29, or November 30. My preferred date <br />would be Monday, October 30. Please let me know if this date will work for you. The session will <br />require a full day. <br />In the attached letter from the St. Louis County Community Development Specialist, David Kuhn, the <br />CDBG funding <br />energy program and homeless shelter do not meet the Federal Guidelines for . While <br />amendments can be made to the CDBG funding at any time throughout the year without notice, I <br />have mailed notice to all individuals attending previous public hearings to make them aware of <br />Council’s pending discussion on October 23. The notification indicates that we need to reallocate <br />$18,000. As I have mentioned before, the Senior Service Board and Senior Shuttle are in need of <br />approximately $18,000 to continue the shuttle service. Mr. Kuhn indicated in his September 27, 2006 <br />letter to Finance Director Willie Norfleet, that, "to pursue the activity of Transportation Services, <br />please provide documentation to verify that funds would be used for a new or quantifiable increase in <br />your existing level of service". Because the Senior Service Board has been forced to take one <br />vehicle out of service, the rider ship is down to 350 riders per month due to the budget cuts forced by <br />the removal of MEAAA funding.
