She noted that she will talk to Mr. Walker <br />in the morning. <br /> <br />Paul Schoomer, 7 Princeton <br />Mr. Schoomer spoke on Bill 9137, the setting of ward boundaries. He asked that a <br />public hearing be set before a vote for its passage takes place. <br /> <br />Paulette Carr, 7901 Gannon <br />Ms. Carr spoke on her concern with the proposed ward boundaries. She noted that <br />there was a public hearing at which no one spoke but stated that was because the <br />hearing was only announced the Friday before the meeting. Ms. Carr noted she sent <br />her concerns to the Council by email. (See attached at end of minutes) <br /> <br />Maurice Karzin, 814 Pennsylvania <br />Mr. Karzin asked for clarification of tree lawns and if there was an ordinance that would <br />not allow dogs to urinate on the tree lawn grass. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-tem asked him to call the City Manager in the morning. <br /> <br />William Field, 7152 Kingsbury <br />Mr. Field said the real issue was not whether the lights on the driving range be turned on <br />or off but rather the issue was whether the lights should be there in the first place. He <br />noted that stadium lighting located adjacent to residential neighborhood was <br />inappropriate with a negative impact on the neighborhood. Mr. Field stated that one <br />should think about it in terms of their own home. He said that it would be sad to think <br />the City would be held hostage on the threat of not receiving any future grants. <br /> <br />Gloria Nickerson, 7576 Blackberry <br />Ms. Nickerson spoke of her concern about a Sunshine request she made seven months <br />ago. She stated she did not receive answers to her request. Ms. Nickerson stated she <br />filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s office. <br /> <br />P. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Mr. Glickert congratulated the visionaries who put together the Jazz festival which was <br />well received and attended. He also asked the City Manager to pass along to Parks that <br />the golf course greens that are in better shape than most private clubs. Mr. Glickert <br />asked the City Manager to look at the street by Winco that is gated as he noted it was a <br />public street. <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-tem Sharpe moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:06 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Joyce Pumm, MRCC <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
