<br />Task Force for Seniors and Youth <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July 7, 2011 <br />The meeting commenced at 6:40 pm. <br />Members in attendance: Non-members in attendance: <br />Abbie Carter Nikki Goldstein <br />Shirley Soule Myra Lopez (University City Patch) <br />Clay Ware Lynn Rossel <br />Genice Self Hazel Howard <br />Victor Pichon Zach Greatens (University City Staff) <br />Abbie Carter requested the following changes to the June 9 minutes (additions shown in <br />bold <br />): <br />teen <br />On page 2, “Ms. Carter stated that the survey does not need a cover sheet.” <br />not <br />On page 2, “Also, the question “Do seniors want shuttle service?” will be added to <br />the survey.” <br />Abbie requested that a formal motion be made to approve both the Senior survey and <br />the Youth Survey. Motions were made, seconded, and approved. <br />A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept October 3, 2011 as the final <br />collection date for the Senior survey and the Youth survey. <br />A motion was made to approve the June 9, 2011 minutes with the suggested changes. <br />The motion was seconded and approved. <br />Old Business <br />The Distribution sheet was reviewed and additional areas for distribution were assigned. <br />Karen Robards and Maxine Harris have resigned from the Task Force. <br />Genice stated she intends to submit the survey to other houses in her neighborhood. <br />Clay provided an update on where the youth survey is posted online. It is posted on the <br />City website, the School District website, the Board of Education will be made aware of <br />the survey, the Youth Society members present at the June 9 meeting were sent an <br />email of the survey and asked to post it in as many places as possible. <br />Hard copies of the surveys are located at the Library, Heman Park, City Hall, and the <br />McNair Building. <br />tm; <br />E <br /> <br />
