Abbie stated that Joe Edwards gave two 10 dollar certificates for Blueberry Hill for teens <br />that complete the youth survey. <br />Shirley asked about keeping track of the number of surveys distributed and completed. <br />Abbie said she counted and recorded the initial number of surveys place at the <br />locations. <br />Clay said it may be a good idea to bring a video camera to locations to record youth <br />answering questions about the survey. <br />Abbie contacted Jan Adams and Ms. Adams will email the names of neighborhood <br />associations. She gave Partridge Neighborhood Association 30 surveys and got 13 <br />back. Abbie also gave 30 surveys to Mt. Gideon church, 75 Senior surveys and 12 <br />Youth surveys to Bible Way Church. <br />Clay asked Genice to reach out to the Epworth Center and bring hard copies of the <br />survey for residents there. <br />Abbie stated that Jen Jensen said she will take care of distribution of surveys at COCA, <br />Historical Society, All Saints Catholic Church, Christ the King Catholic Church, and <br />Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion. Abbie also mentioned that the list previously <br />provided is helpful for contact information of churches, etc. <br />Genice asked if the senior survey is on the City website. Ms. Lopez stated it was not. It <br />will be placed on the City website. Only the youth survey is currently on the website. <br />Nikki stated she could distribute the survey beyond the Crown Center. There may be <br />an issue with foreign languages, but a translator could be provided. <br />Nikki asked if there is a cover letter to each organization. <br />There is a cover letter on each survey that states the purpose. <br />Shirley stated she had called each organization first and asked how many they needed. <br />It is important to keep track of the number distributed. <br />Nikki asked about the Community Center. They deliver meals to seniors. <br />Genice stated that the MEAAA representative who was at a meeting several months <br />ago stated they could bring surveys when meals are dropped off. The MEAAA <br />representative was Gladys Hicks. <br />Nikki asked if there was an age requirement for the senior survey. <br />Regarding cover sheet, Maxine is no longer on the committee and her name should be <br />removed from the cover sheet. <br />tm;E <br /> <br />
