-We are changing title to “Senior Citizen” friendly. <br />-Do we have to include race? <br />-Yes. Different groups will have different opinions. <br />-We should check the census list for all ethnic/race categories. <br />-What about question about active senior center? <br />-We could still eliminate words if possible. <br />-We will send it on to the senior committee and let them finalize it. <br />The document will now go on to those on the senior committee. <br />-When should they have it ready? <br />-Question about services has a misspelling. Remove “appropriate” from question about <br />jobs. <br />-Change to “are there job opportunities for seniors?” <br />Motion to turn over to senior committee; approved. <br />Questions/Comments and discussion: <br />-Distribution date? <br />-There should be a list of what has to happen before selecting a date. <br />-The Mayor wants a report by February 2012. <br />-We should try to get results from the survey done by September 1. <br />-Summarized results by September 1. <br />th <br />-Collect survey by August 4. <br />-It may not take long to compile the data. <br />-There will probably have to be meetings in between. <br />-Will some surveys be on the internet and some on paper? <br />Page of <br /> <br />
