Session 1669, Minutes <br />June 10, 1996 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />RATIO THAT UNIVERSITY CITY'S POPULATION BEARS TO THE TOTAL POPULATION <br />OF ALL MUNICIPALITIES CHOOSING THE SAME OPTION; CONTAINING AN EMERGEN- <br />CY CLAUSE. <br />A bill was introduced by Councilmember Schoomer, entitled: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE CHOOSING THE METHOD OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT SALES TAX <br />DISTRIBUTION AS REQUIRED UNDER SECTION 94.890 R.S.MO., SO THAT THE TAX <br />MONEY SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED TO THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY BASED ON THE <br />PERCENTAGE RATIO THAT ITS POPULATION BEARS TO THE TOTAL POPULATION OF <br />ALL MUNICIPALITIES CHOOSING THE SAME OPTION; CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY <br />CLAUSE." <br /> <br />The bill was assigned No. 8276 and given its first reading. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8276 was given its second reading. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8276 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved adoption. Mr. Ware seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Ware, Munkel, Schoomer, Thompson, and Mayor Adams. NAYS: None. <br />ABSENT: Councilm~mbers Lieberman and Wagner. Bill No. 8276 became Ordinance No. 6056. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams adjourned the meeting at 5:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Dolores A.
