<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL <br /> <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />November 28, 2011 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, <br />on Monday, November 4, 2011, Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:30 <br />p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br />Ms. Lynn Ricci arrived at 6:36 p.m. <br />Mr. Stephen Kraft <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. Michael Glickert <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe <br /> <br />Also in attendance was City Manager Lehman Walker <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mr. Walker stated he had two items for consideration. The first was to request Bill 9140 <br />be postponed indefinitely. Second, under the City Manager’s report, that consideration <br />of the liquor license for the Dollar General Store be postponed until the review of our <br />liquor license procedure is completed. Mayor Welsch asked to add to the agenda the <br />swearing in of Dr. Dianne Benjamin to the Green Practices Commission. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert moved to approve the agenda as amended, was seconded by Mr. Sharpe <br />and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />1. The minutes of the November 7, 2011, City Council Budget Study session was <br />moved for approval by Mr. Sharpe, seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />2. The minutes of the November 28, 2011, Regular City Council session was moved <br />for approval by Mr. Sharpe and was seconded by Mr. Crow. <br /> <br />Mr. Glickert amended minutes to reflect that Mr. Sharpe and Mr. Price were <br />excused at 6:45 p.m. not 6:30. <br /> <br />The vote on amended November 28, 2011, minutes carried unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. Larry Lee Lanius II was nominated for the CALOP Commission by Mayor Welsch, <br /> <br />was seconded by Ms. Ricci and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
