Session 1664, Minutes <br />May 6, 1996 <br /> <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />OCCUPATIONS REQUIRING LICENSES ENUMERATED,' SO AS TO EXCLUDE NEWSPAPER <br />ADVERTISING SALES FROM SECTION 18-20 AND INCLUDE IT IN SECTION 18-20.2; CON- <br />TAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY." <br /> <br />The bill was assigned No. 8271 and given its first reading. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Adams said City Manager Frank Ollendorffwas doubly honored recently. He is the recipient of <br />the Jay T. Bell Servi~ Award from the Missouri Municipal League, and he was also elected president <br />of the Missouri City Managers Association. <br /> <br />Mrs. Thompson announced that University City residents Gus Lumpe and Betty Van Uum were named <br />delegates to Democratic National Convention in Chicago in June, 1996, and her son, Kwame Thompson, <br />was named a page. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved that Council meet in executive session at 8:55 p.m. this date in Room 6 of City <br />Hall to discuss personnel. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: <br />Councilmembers Munkel, Wagner, Lieberman, Schoomer, Thompson, and Mayor Adams. NAYS: <br />None. Motion carriod unanimously. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Adams adjourned the meeting at 8:58 p.m. <br /> <br />Dolores A. Miller City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
