Session 1664, Minutes May 6, 1996 Page 8 Mr. Thomas Seavert, 2013 Kingsford Drive, said he was hired as a mechanic by University City in 1981. In October, 1994, he was injured while working. In October, 1995, his position was terminated. He was well enough to return to work in January, 1996, and was told the City would find something for him, but was still waiting. He asked the Council what their position is on employees returning to work aRer an injury. Mayor Adams said the City Charter precludes Council from interference in personnel matters, but he asked Mr. Ollendorffto inform the Council of the procedure followed in matters of this kind. lqlI.I.
