Opening Round: <br />a. The Opening Round was delayed until the end of the meeting due to the <br />presentations. <br /> <br />2. Administrative items: <br />a. The September 14, 2011, meeting minutes will be emailed to members <br />st <br />for review and approval. The minutes were approved as of October 21. <br />b. Next meeting date: The members have agreed to attend the Parkview <br />Gardens Neighborhood public meeting on November 9, in lieu of the <br />regular meeting. <br /> <br />3. Presentation on the Centennial Trail to Shaw Park Connection - Patrick <br />Owens, Great Rivers Greenway <br />a. Can I ride my bike on the trail in the Loop? There is a sign identifying a <br />dismount zone. There is a section along the edge of Loop South with <br />bollards to created dismount zone. Cyclists are required to dismount on <br />the sidewalk and bike on the street. <br />b. Is GRG coordinating the trail with the purposed Metrolink? Yes, GRG <br />signed a license agreement with Metro to complete the trail. <br />c. What happens at the other end? Is there a trail that goes into Shaw <br />Park? Yes, it goes past the Center of Clayton to the ball parks in Shaw <br />Park. <br />d. Who will handle the upkeep on the plants? The local jurisdictions have <br />agreed to handle the maintenance. GRG signed a maintenance <br />agreement with City of Olivette, Clayton, Ladue and University City. <br />Each municipality will maintain just as they would maintain any other <br />parks or trail systems. <br />14 <br />Page of <br /> <br /> <br />
