Overall 275 volunteers participated in the successful <br />Trash Bash event. <br /> <br /> Jerry feels that the consultants for the Great Rivers Greenway and H3 <br />Studio are doing a great job. They present quality and professional <br />presentations. He recommends that members get involved in the Bike <br />and Walk task forces and he is very excited about the projects and <br />planning going on in University City. This new approach to build <br />infrastructure is a better approach than the City trying to go after <br />developers to build the “big boxes” along Olive. <br /> <br /> Linda expressed concern about members not being aware of the <br />Walgreens new development. Since the Commission members were not <br />appointed during the plan review period for the Walgreens development <br />project, the plans were not submitted to the Commission for review <br />and/or comment. Future development projects will go before the GPC. <br />The members were encouraged to subscribe to the Council and Plan <br />Commission agendas and minutes to keep abreast of new and ongoing <br />projects. <br /> <br />13.
