<br />MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL – Fifth floor <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />January 9, 2012 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City <br />Hall, on Monday, January 9, 2012, Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to order at <br />6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Welsch, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron Price <br />Mr. Stephen Kraft <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. L. Michael Glickert <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Ms. Ricci had an unexcused absence. <br /> <br />Also in attendance was City Manager Lehman Walker. <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Approved as submitted <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. The minutes of December 12, 2011, Regular City Council Session was moved for <br />approval by Mr. Sharpe, who was seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. Mr. Sharpe moved to appoint Richard Wesenberg to the Historic Preservation <br />Commission, who was seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />2. Mr. Kraft moved to reappoint Deidra Lewis to the Plan Commission, who was <br />seconded by Mr. Price and the motion carried unanimously. <br />3. Mr. Kraft moved to reappoint Eric Friedman for a third term to the CALOP <br />Commission, who was seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />G. SWEARING IN <br />Teddy Presberg was sworn in to CALOP Commission in the City Clerk’s office. <br /> <br />H. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION (Total of 15 minutes allowed) <br /> <br />Richard Dockett, 6844 Crest Avenue <br />Mr. Dockett stated that he was not happy with moving to Centennial Commons as it <br />was too small for the number of people in attendance and would like to return to <br />Heman Park Community Center. <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
