<br /> <br />Plan Commission <br />Minutes <br />December 13, 2011 <br /> <br />The Plan Commission held their regular meeting in the EOC Room located at City Hall, 6801 <br />Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri on December 13, 2011. The meeting commenced <br />at 7:05 pm. <br /> <br />Voting Members PresentVoting Members Absent <br /> <br />Ben Senturia (Chair Pro-Tem) Ben Halpert (Chairperson) <br />Lisa Greening Deidre Lewis (Vice-Chairperson) <br />Paulette Carr Nova Felton <br />Tom Byrne <br /> <br />Non-Voting Council Liaison Present <br />Stephen Kraft <br /> <br />Staff Present <br />Ray Lai, Deputy Director of Planning, Zoning, and Economic Development <br />Zach Greatens, Planner <br /> <br />Mr. Senturia called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />Mr. Senturia announced that due to the absence of the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson, a <br />Chair Pro-Tem needed to be nominated. Ms. Carr nominated Mr. Senturia to act as Chair Pro- <br />Tem. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Mr. Senturia asked for a motion to approve the October 5, 2011 Plan Commission Meeting <br />minutes. Ms. Carr made a motion to approve the October 5, 2011 Plan Commission Meeting <br />minutes. The motion was seconded by Ms. Greening. The motion was approved unanimously. <br /> <br />New Business <br /> <br />Text Amendment: Proposed 8-month extension of JDO Joint Development Zoning <br />Overlay <br /> <br />Mr. Greatens gave a summary of the proposed Text Amendment. <br />The JDO Joint Development Zoning Overlay was granted approval for one year on January 24, <br />2011. The Zoning Overlay is set to expire on January 24, 2012. On November 14, City Council <br />approved the formation of the Joint Redevelopment Implementation Committee (JRIC). As part <br />of that approve, the Plan Commission has been directed to consider and make a recommendation <br />for an 8-month extension of the Zoning Overlay. On November 30, a Code Review Committee <br />meeting was held. All three members of the Code Review Committee have expressed their <br />tm; <br /> šE <br /> <br />
