Session 1702, Minutes <br />July 28, 1997 <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8341 - AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY <br />RELATING TO ZONING BY REPEALING SECTION 34-51.4, RELATING TO PERMITTED HOME OCCUPATIONS, <br />AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 34-51.4, PERMITTED HOME <br />OCCUPATIONS" BY ADDING SUBSECTION "1. BED AND BREAKFAST FACILITY PROVIDED THAT:"; CONTAINING <br />A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Munkel moved adoption. Mr. Lieherman seconded. The roll caJI vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Ware, Mr. Munkel, <br />Mr. Wa~ner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer and Mayor Adams. Bill no. 8341 passes and becomes Ordinance No. 6123. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />A bill was introduced by Mr. Munkel, entitled: <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8342 - AN ORDINANCE TO CONFORM WITH REQUIREMENTS OF MISSOURI SENATE BILL 262 TO <br />ESTABLISH A PROCEDURE TO DISCLOSE POTENTIAL CONFLICTS OF INTEREST AND SUBSTANTIAL INTERESTS <br />FOR CERTAIN MUNICIPAL OFFICIALS. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams announced that the City Council family recently suffered two losses: Mrs. Betty Thompson's father, William <br />Bolden and City Clerk Leisha Meine's husband, Jay.
