VERSION 1 MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL December 11, 2006 At the Regular Council Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the City Hall, on Monday, December 11, 2006, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were present: Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. Ms. Stefany Brot Mr. Byron Price Mr. Robert Wagner Ms. Lynn Ricci Mr. Michael Glickert Also in attendance was the City Manager, Ms. Julie Feier. MINUTES The minutes of November 20, 2006, Regular Council Session were moved for adoption by Mr. Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Glickert and approved unanimously. Ms. Ricci asked for the motion of approval of the November 20, 2006, minutes to be reconsidered as she had a correction to be added. Ms. Brot seconded the reconsideration and it was approved unanimously. Ms. Ricci proposed that the wording of “City fees” found on page six of the minutes to be changed to Municipal fees in order to be consistent with the Missouri statutes, seconded by Ms. Brot and approved unanimously. The minutes of November 20, 2006, Study Session were moved for adoption as amended by Mr. Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Price and approved unanimously. APPOINTMENTS Nancy Solodar was nominated by Ms. Brot for the Urban Forestry Commission, seconded by Mr. Price and approved unanimously. Norma Bonham Schechter was nominated by Mr. Wagner for the Urban Forestry Commission, seconded by Mr. Glickert and passed unanimously. CITY MANAGER’S AGENDA CONSENT CALENDAR 1. Liquor License – 6625 Delmar – Brandt’s Cafe The new owner of Brandt’s Café, Adam Brandt, applied for license to sell liquor at retail by the drink and a Sunday Liquor sales’ license. Mr. Sharpe, Jr. moved for approval of the consent calendar, seconded by Ms. Brot and approved unanimously.
