Site Plan approval for 7745 Olive to change from Single Family Residential District to General Commercial District. Mr. Price moved to table this to the end of the present Council session, seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr., and approved unanimously. 2. Human Resources Director, Yolanda Williams provided an update on the newly proposed wellness program. An outline of the wellness program and its mission was passed out to the Council. The benefits of a wellness program would assist in lowering the health insurance cost for University City employees, aide in employee productivity, reduce workmen’s-compensation claims, reduce sick leave, increase personal satisfaction and work-place morale. These goals would be obtained by: education, time, and opportunities; and different assessments, motivation, and rewards, created by a motivation committee. Some of the program’s elements would include: fitness, mental health, nutrition, and weight management; and personal health and safety. Ms. Brot asked if there would be a company hired to facilitate this program. Ms. Williams said that most of the program would be facilitated by staff. 3. Restricting residential parking by permit only. A parking permit would be required along the west side of the 1200 block of Sutter Ave. from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Traffic Commission also approved a stop sign for southbound Gay Ave., at the intersection of Mapleview. Ms. Brot asked that double signs be installed for clearer direction for Gay Ave and Mapleview, on the western side of the intersection at Old Bonhomme.
