In addition to <br />the striping and signage, the height of the landscaping items within the median <br />island at this intersection need to be lowered to less than two (2) feet to enhance <br />visibility. <br /> <br />Commissioner Nichols made a motion to install an ALL WAY Stop sign due to the <br />th <br />geometry of the intersection and lack of visibility on both Milan Avenue and 78 Street <br />when approaching the intersection, seconded by Commissioner Brot and unanimously <br />approved. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brot made a motion to install striping and signage at this intersection. The <br />signage includes two (2) stop signs, two (2) yield signs, one (1) left turn prohibited and one <br />(1) right turn prohibited, one (1) warning sign “Oncoming Traffic Does Not Stop” and the <br />striping includes two (2) 12 feet long stop bars and an extended island with white <br />chevrons.
