VERSION 1 MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL January 8, 2007 At the Regular Council Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the City Hall, on Monday, January 08, 2006, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were present: Ms. Stefany Brot Mr. Byron Price Mr. Robert Wagner Ms. Lynn Ricci Mr. Glickert and Mr. Sharpe, Jr., had an excused absence. Also in attendance was the City Manager, Ms. Julie Feier. MINUTES The minutes of December 11, 2006, Regular Council Session were moved for adoption by Ms. Brot, seconded by Mr. Wagner and approved unanimously. The minutes of December 11, 2006, Study Session were moved for adoption by Ms. Brot, seconded by Ms. Ricci and approved unanimously. APPOINTMENTS Nancy Solodar and Norma Bonham were sworn in as members of the Urban Forestry Commission. Donnie Robinson was sworn in as a member of the Traffic Commission. Claire Medol Hyman was nominated by Ms. Ricci for the Arts & Letters Commission, seconded by Ms. Brot and approved unanimously. Mr. Price had commission nominations but they had not been submitted to the Council before the meeting. The Chair ruled that items for Council’s review must be submitted to the City Clerk at least twenty-four hours prior to the meeting. Mr. Price moved to overrule the chair in order for him to nominate his appointments and reappointment to the commissions. Mr. Wagner seconded his motion and was unanimously approved. Mr. Price nominated Linda Peoples to the Park Commission, Nova Felton to the Plan Commission and reappointed Mr. Marentette to the Plan Commission. CITY MANAGER’S AGENDA CONSENT CALENDAR 1. Liquor License at 8428 Olive, establishment known as Cathy’s Cozy-Up 2. Liquor License at 8080 Olive, establishment known as Vietnamese Bistro Mr. Price moved for approval of the consent calendar, seconded by Ms. Brot and C-1- a
