<br />Mr. Patrick Owens with Great Rivers Greenway gave a presentation about the proposed <br />Centennial Trail connection from Shaw Park to Olive Boulevard. <br /> <br />Reports <br /> <br />Code Review Committee Report <br /> <br />Mr. Greatens provided a report of recent Code Review Committee (CRC) activity. The CRC <br />met on September 20, 2011 to review a proposed Text Amendment pertaining to short-term loan <br />establishments, title lenders, pawn shops and check-cashing establishments. The Text <br />Amendment had been approved earlier by the Plan Commission on June 22, 2011 at its regular <br />meeting. However, the matter was referred back to the Plan Commission for further study. At <br />the CRC meeting, members voted to leave the proposed Text Amendment unchanged. <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Text Amendment be forwarded to City Council as adopted by the <br />Plan Commission on June 22, 2011. <br /> <br />Mr. Byrne made a motion to approve the Text Amendment as written. The motion was seconded <br />and carried. <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan Committee Report <br /> <br />Ms. Riganti gave a report of the Comprehensive Plan Committee. <br /> <br />Council Liaison Report <br /> <br />Mr. Kraft provided the report. <br /> <br />Department Report <br /> <br />Ms. Riganti provided a department report. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:05 pm. <br /> <br />tm; E <br />
