SESSION 1652 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY ~ OOUNCIL <br /> <br /> October 2, 1995 <br /> <br />At a re~ularmeetingoftheCityCouncil of UniversityCityheld in theCoun- <br />cil chamber of City Mail on Monday, October 2, 1995, Mayor Janet Majerus pre- <br />sided andcalledthemeetingtoorderat 7:30 p.m. In additiontotheMayor, <br />the following members of tb~Oouncilwerepresent: <br /> <br />Mr. George R. COtton <br />Mr. Joeeph L. Adams, Jr. <br />Mr. 1%obert G. Wagner <br />Mrs. Mary V. ramhuman <br /> <br />Mrs. Betty L. Thompson <br /> <br />Also present was city Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the September 11, 1995, minutes as submitted. <br />Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus said a public hearing will be held on October 11, 1995, at 6:00 <br />p.m. in tb~ Emergency Operations Center (lower level of City Hall) to give <br />citizens an opportunity to suggest ways the City should allocate its C~m~uni- <br />ty Development Block Grant funds. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved the appointment of Mr. James Scott, 7567 Cornell, to the <br />C~m,~ttee for Access and Local Origination Programm/ng (CALOP) for an unex- <br />piredtermendingSeptember 9, 1996. Mr. Wagner secondedthe motion, and all <br />votedAye. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams moved that Mr. Thc~mas H. Cohen, 6355 Westminster Place, be appoint- <br />ed to the Historic Preservation Commission for a term expiring September 9, <br />1998. Mr. Schoc~er seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved that Mr. Miles C. Cramer, 1065 Jackson, and Mr. Charles L. <br />Leven, 7042 Delmar, be reappointed to the Board of Trustees of the Uniformed <br />and the Non-uniformed Employees Retirement Funds. Mr. Schocmer seconded the <br />motion, and all votedAye. <br /> <br />OONSENT CATRNDA~ (THREE I~) <br /> <br />Fire Turn-Out Gear (#1). Four companies were invited to bid on 10 sets of <br />turn-out coats and pants for the Fire Department, with the following results: <br /> <br /> <br />
