Sessio~ 1652, Minutes Page 4 <br />October 2, 1995 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff said valet parking will be provided for all events at the fa- <br />cility, and a lettar was submitted to the City stating that no cars will be <br />park_~d_ c~ the residential side of any street. Umd_~r the site plan and valet <br />parking plan, there are 211 planned spaces; occupancy is figured under two <br />alternatives, with one re~,~ing 150 tk3rking spaoes, tb~ other 125. He noted <br />there were many more spaoes in the lot than either of these figures. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman moved approval of the liquor lioense application, adding it will <br />be easier to monitor the facility with a license than without one. Mr. Wag- <br />her secomde~_____ the motion. All voted Aye. <br /> <br />SITE PTAN - 5O7 MAPLEVIEW <br /> <br />The City Manager rec~,,,e~3__ed_ approval of a second-story addition to the home <br />at 507 Mapleview since it will not adversely affect the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Ms. Nancy Sachar, 8044 Lafon, said she had difficulty recenUy obta'nUng per- <br />mission to build her house slightly above the prevailing neighborhood height; <br />she wished to know if there was now a limit on what will be allowed. She did <br />not object to this addition but would be concerned if many houses in the <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff said the zoning ordinanoe is unusually strict in that anything <br />over one story in b~_ight must be reviewed by the plannir~ staff which in turn <br />reports to the City Ccuncil on whether it fits in with the neighborhood. He <br /> <br />story would not be rec~ended; however, the final decision belongs to the <br />elected officials. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval and Mr. Cotton seconded the motion. All voted Aye. <br /> <br />Tb~ City Manager said tb~ budget approved in June includes 10 cc~; 10 <br />dealers w~re ~-~_ked___ to bid, with responses f~-cm~ the following: <br /> <br />P.C.
