Signs on the premises shall conform in all respects with the provisions <br />of the University City Sign Code. <br />2. A detailed landscaping plan shall be su~nitted to the Director of Plan- <br /> ning for his review and approval. Landscaping shall be installed and <br /> maintained in acco~nc~ - with the approved plan. <br />3. Adequate refuse d{-':~r~"~l shall be provided by and for the business. Out- <br /> door storag~ of refuse containers shall be as approved by the Director of <br /> Planning. The operator of the restaurant shall regularly police the site <br /> and the area adjacent to the restaurant to remove litter and debris. <br />4. An exhaust syste~ shall be installed and maintained or other means shall <br /> be taken to prevent food preparation odors or cooking odors frc~ being <br /> readily ~zceptible beyond the lot lines of the pro~zty on which the <br /> <br />5. The hours of o~eration shall be limited daily to the hours between 10:00 <br /> a.m. and 11:00 p.m., except on Saturdays the hours of operation shall be <br /> limited to the hours between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning. <br /> <br />Mrs. ~hompson moved approval with all conditions. Mr. Schoomer seconded the <br />motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />SITE PLAN - 8301B OLIVE <br /> <br />The City Manager r-com~.nded approval of a site plan allowing a non-profit <br />t~x ex~ Youth Arts C~nter at 8301B Olive, with the following condition: <br /> <br />~he use shall be limited to music lessons and ~usic practice sessions, <br />computer and office equipment tra'n~ng, tutoring, youth meetings, and or- <br />ganizational office and staff training use, and no more than 20 students <br />shall be on the premises at any one time. <br /> <br />Arts Center. F~. Charlotte Brown, 4878 Lee Avenue, representing the Youth <br />Gospel Music Conference, said tb~ other two businesses in the building are <br />not related to the Oenter. Mrs. Schuman had scme conoern about lack of park- <br />ing. Ms. Brown said the sales office operates one day a week frc~ 10 a.m. to <br />2 p.m.; on wee3x~ys, the Center will start operating about 3:00 p.m. when <br />children arrive from school. Few will drive; most will have parents dropping <br />them off and picking them up. Rm~o~ng to Mr. Schoomer, Ms. Brown said be- <br />cause of space limitations there would be no trouble keeping the number of <br />students at 20. All voted Aye. <br /> <br />The Personnel report for the week ending September 9, 1995, was received and <br />ordered filed. ~ayor Majerus wished to know why a m~ch larger number of tem- <br />porary employees were shown for this year over last year.
