<br /> <br />MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY HALL <br />6801 Delmar Blvd. <br />City of University City, Missouri 63130 <br />September 10, 2012 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held on the fifth floor of City Hall, <br />on Monday, September 10, 2012, Mayor Shelley Welsch called the meeting to order at 6:30 <br />p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron Price <br />Ms. Paulette Carr <br />Mr. Stephen Kraft <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. Michael Glickert <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance was the City Manager Lehman Walker. <br /> <br />C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mr. Walker asked to postpone Resolution #2012-10, Blighting Analysis until September <br />24, 2012. Mr. Price moved for approval, was seconded by Mr. Glickert and the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />D. PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />E. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. <br /> The minutes of August 27, 2012, City Council Study Session was moved for approval <br />by Mr. Sharpe, was seconded by Mr. Kraft and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. <br /> The minutes of August 27, 2012, City Council Regular Session was moved for <br />approval by Mr. Sharpe and was seconded by Mr. Glickert. <br /> <br />Ms. Carr asked to amend a Citizen Comments statement by Ms. Adams in the <br />minutes stating, “Ms. Adams provided examples of violations of the Sunshine Law by <br />Ms. Carr” and asked for it to read “Ms. Adams provided examples of what she <br />considered to be Sunshine Law violations by Ms. Carr”. <br /> <br /> Mr. Price requested to amend the minutes for clarification of Mr. Glickert’s revision to <br />the minutes concerning the cost to pave Parking Lot #4 to state “anticipated cost” to <br />repaving parking #4 instead of an “updated cost”. <br /> <br />Minutes as amended carried unanimously. <br /> <br />F. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. <br /> Mayor Welsch nominated Robert Kuhlman, Jr. to be appointed to the Economic <br />Redevelopment Retail Sales Tax Board, was seconded by Mr. Glickert and the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
