Picnic: Liquor License for Edg-Clif Winery <br />Mr. Walker said Edg-Clif Winery will be the main liquor provider for the University <br />City Jazz Festival on September 22, 2012, at Heman Park and the staff <br />recommended approval. <br /> <br />Mr. Price moved to approve liquor license for the Jazz Festival on September 22, <br />2012, was seconded by Mr. Sharpe and the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />8. Liquor License for Tokyo Seafood Buffet <br />Mr. Walker said the staff requested approval of the Liquor License for Tokyo <br />Seafood Buffet. <br /> <br />Mr. Price moved to approve the liquor license, was seconded by Mr. Glickert and <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. Loop Trolley <br />Mr. Walker said the staff would like approval for the Loop Trolley letter. <br /> <br />CITIZENS COMMENTS <br />Joe Edwards, 6504 Delmar <br />Mr. Edwards stated that he was excited that all Urban Circulator Funds have been <br />approved by the Federal Transit Administration. He said the 24.99 million dollar <br />project can start moving forward. The balance of the grant, $2.88 million dollars for <br />designing engineering work, started in July, 2010 has been completed. He gave <br />details of the engineering structure for the project and stated that University City <br />was one of five cities around the nation that were awarded a grant. <br /> <br />It was requested that Mr. Walker read the letter that the Council would be voting <br />on. Mr. Walker read the letter regarding the Loop Trolley and also stated it was on <br />the back of the Council agenda for reference. <br /> <br />Jan Scott, 6960 Kingsbury Boulevard <br />Ms. Scott felt there was not enough information and public discussion in order for <br />Council to vote on the trolley letter of recommendation. She also expressed <br />concerns about safety and traffic on Delmar once the Trolley was in place. <br /> <br />Ms. Pat Forster, 7438 Stratford Avenue <br />Ms. Forster stated the resolution letter that was given in 2002 was for a general <br />concept of a trolley with no specifics such as double or single tracks and overhead <br />wires.
