His name <br />was inadvertently left off the ballot last April, but it was felt he would <br />have wu~ the election. Ms. Garrett said he would do a good job. <br /> <br />Mr. Shapiro said he was from Connecticut and will be a senior next year m- <br />joririg in English literature. Mayor Majerus welcomed Mr. Shapiro and sug- <br />gested meeting soc~ to discuss goals. It was recrm~nded <br />that a public hearing be set for July 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Oamcil chamber <br />to co~sider vacating the rema'hning portion of an unimproved alley bet-w~en <br />Sheridan and Coolidge (1400 block), but retaining public utility ~a_~en~. <br />The neighborhood re~_ested several years ago that the 1300 and 1400 blocks of <br />this alley be vacated, however, the legal description for the 1400 block was <br />not included in the ordinance, and adjacent property owners discovered the <br />cmdssion when tb~y began to claim the property in recent months. <br /> <br />Annual Uniform Hental Program (#3).
