Invitations to bid <br />w~re sent out to interest~d_ parties again this year, hc~=ver, only Clark re- <br />turned a bid. Clark proposes that the City pay the pump price less the <br />City's tax exemption plus Clark's discount of two cents per gallon. These <br />measures reduoe the cost frc~ $1.099 to $0.945 per gallon. Central Garage <br />calculates Police Department usage for 1995-96 to be about 18,000 gallons for <br />an annual estimated cost of $17,010. The system has worked very well in the <br />past year.
