CITIZEN Mr. Airest Wils~l, 2614 F~J=aran, president of St. Louis Oc~anty Black Fire- fighters Association, said his group asked him to address Council regarding a report on the Fire De~t's p~-~-otional examination for captain, copies of which were circulated to Council. He said the Association felt there my have been violations of the affirmative action program and Title VII federal guidelines, and they are considering filing a lawsuit against the City. He a~_ Council to review the report, as well as the affirmative action policy ~m4opted .... in 1983 and the federal guidelines as they apply to the fire captain examination.
