<br />P. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Ms. Carr agreed with Mr. Glickert regarding a very successful gala for the bird habitat <br />garden and according to Judy Prange, $9,100 was raised. <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch mentioned that Wednesday, October 10, 2012 was the deadline to <br />register to vote in the November election. She stated if you have moved or are a new <br />voter to please take the time to register. The City Clerk or the St. Louis County Board of <br />Election can handle the registrations. She also stated flyers were available today for the <br />Make a Difference Day which would be October 27, 2012. Mayor Welsch said she also <br />attended the first Asian American Festival as Mr. Glickert did and it was a great success. <br />She attended the Service Fair at the library and encouraged everyone to attend the final <br />viewer’s choice movie, the “Goonies” on Saturday, October 13th at Heman Park at dusk. <br />Mayor Welsch also attended a two-day meeting on biking and walking in Richmond <br />Heights and loved hearing what other communities were doing and how they are <br />keeping their residents healthy. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe recognized his son from Atlanta, GA who was in town to help celebrate his <br />birthday. <br /> <br />Q.
