<br /> <br />Mr. Walker stated that at this time, he recommended keeping the loading zones <br />until the issue could be studied. He noted that the loading zones were requested <br />by the Loop Special Business District. <br /> <br />Mr. Lew Prince, 6610 Delmar <br />Mr. Prince stated he attended two Traffic Commission meetings and they said it <br />wasn’t their job to decide whether parking should be paid or not. Mr. Prince also <br />stated that the free two-hour parking that was suggested by Ms. Carr was a great <br />idea. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. Liquor License for Olive Supermarket, 8041 Olive. The staff recommended the <br />approval of Liquor license for Olive Supermarket at 8041 Olive. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved to approve the Liquor License for Olive Supermarket and was <br />seconded by Mr. Glickert. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow asked when staff would be updating the liquor license procedures. <br /> <br />Mr. Walker stated that the finance department is in the process of updating the <br />liquor license application along with a long list of other things they are handling. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Marketing and Public Relation/Communication Services. The staff recommended <br />approval to authorize the City Manager to approve the statement of work with <br />Brighton Agency. <br /> <br /> Mr. Glickert moved to approve allowing the City Manager to approve the statement <br />of work with Brighton Agency and was seconded by Mr. Kraft. <br /> <br /> Mr. Price asked if this is passed if Council had an “opt out” prevision and what <br />would be the City’s recourse. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker reminded the Council that the City would be paying Brighton Agency on <br />an hourly basis and if Council was dissatisfied with their services at any time they <br />could be terminated. <br /> <br /> Mr. Price asked to amend the motion by adding that Brighton would provide <br />quarterly reviews to Council. He said this was necessary in order make sure it met <br />the Council’s expectations because of mishaps in the past. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker stated there would be no difficulty in providing an evaluation in the <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
