Bill No. 8214 wss given its third reading. said this measure will enable the City to bring about significant improvement in refuse collection and recycling. On roll call, the follc~ing vote was re- C~tton, and Mayor Majerus. NAYS: None. Bill No. 8214 became Ordinance No. 5999. Mr. Ollendorff said a fact sheet has been prepared, and the City will do everything possible to ensure that citizens receive all the information they r~ to make an informed decision in April. BILL NO. 8215 - PROVIDING FOR THE INST~T,~ATION OF A FIRE ~ IN AC~OR- DANCE WITH THE FIRE C~IIEF'S D~ON, AND ~RIZING THE ~ MANAGER Bill No. 8215 was given its second reading. Bill No. 8215 was given its third reading. Mr. Schocmer moved adoption. Mr. COtton seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Counci~ Wagner, Schuman, Schoc~er, Thomp- son, Cotton, A~a_ms, and Mayor Majerus. NAYS: None. Bill No. 8215 became Ordinance No. 6000. Mr. Schoc~er moved that Ommncil meet in closed session at 8:10 p.m. this date in Room 6 of City Hall to discuss personnel matters. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Oounci~ Schuman, Schoc~er, Thompson, COtton, ~d_a~ms, Wagner, and Mayor Majerus. NAYS: None. Mayor Majerus said University City will host th~ St. Louis Oounty Municipal League meeting this Thursday, January 26 at City Hall. Mayor Majerus said the Missouri Municipal I~ague's Annual Legislative Confer- ence will be held in Jefferson City on February 21-22, and several council- m~mg~_rs were planning to a~.
